Altheda launched late November 2020 in Melbourne by mother of two Lee Ercan. After a successful career in corporate and being a stay home mum, Lee took the moment of global pause from COVID-19 to pursue her lifelong dream of working in fashion.
Lee has always been a fashion lover, she laughs as she recalls saving her pocket money to buy the latest edition of Vogue when she was in Grade 6. Lee says she was always looking for something unique but on trend that wasn't available in major retail and without the designer price tags.
With shopping and travel being her favourite pass time, Lee was able to find quality, trend-aware pieces that didn’t cost a fortune. Friends and strangers often asked where she bought her outfits, Lee realised the gap in the market and thus Altheda was born.
"Altheda means to blossom, and that is how I want every woman to look and feel when they dress from Altheda!"
With unique, exciting, and chic styles that you won’t find in mainstream retail and affordable prices to match, Altheda is cause for celebration.
Lee hopes to inspire other women to follow their dreams and know that beautiful things can blossom from humble beginnings.
